Timo Wopp is male, white, heterosexual - in short the biggest victim of public ridicule. But he doesn't get comfortable in the role of a whining over-40 emo. He doesn't mourn his lost privileges. Instead, he manfully and full of astute self-irony goes into battle for his comedic raison d'être, searching for exit options both desperately and unsuccessfully, chasing his audience along new comedy paths that have not yet been trodden flat.
