Things are going really well for Tom Walker at the moment. The Scottish-born singer's first tour in April of this year, which was planned as a small, intimate one, had to be moved to larger clubs (several times in some cases) and was still sold out far in advance. This is not least due to the single "Leave A Light On", which has now been in the German charts for 22 weeks, went to one in the iTunes charts in eight countries, has long since been awarded a gold record in this country and in France and a platinum record in Italy and Switzerland, and has been viewed over 50 million times as a video. So it's no surprise that the young man, who has already been heralded in advance for a very big year in lists such as BBC Sound Of 2018, MTV's Brand New 2018 and Shazam's Next To Know, is taking off like this. He already reached nearly 20 million views on YouTube with "Fly Away With Me," and has 100 million streams in total. Walker's showpiece, which he makes really irresistible with his powerful voice, is just one of many songs that convince with their intensity and passion. Now, Friday sees the addition of another great single, "My Way". It can be seen as an additional fantastic forerunner of his debut album "What A Time To Be Alive", which will be released on October 12th. To coincide with this, we're pleased to announce that not only will he be at the twin festivals Southside and Hurricane this weekend, but he's also confirmed that he'll be back on a major German tour next November/December.
