The Jazz Quartet BERLIN 21 represents the lively attitude towards life in Moabit. This spirited district is a place of longing, characterized by dynamics and parallel lifestyles. The unique atmosphere of this urban parcours is the inspiration for his debut album "CAPITAL LETTERS", which was released as CD and DVD on 16.05.2014 by the Berlin label Blackbird Music.
For BERLIN 21, elements of bebop and hardbop, of soul, Latin and Afro Jazz meet and merge into an exciting sound experience. The band compositions on "CAPITAL'LETTERS" are "letters from the capital" - printed in capital letters - and carry the pulsating sound of Moabit into the world.
