"TransAtlantic Blues" is a project by American blues/Americana artist Peter Karp and German blues harp virtuoso Linda Krieg.
Karp's song "Stranger" represents the story of a first encounter that is about understanding the other person's intention. The feeling of it is "live" and spontaneous. Peter Karp, considered one of the best contemporary singer-songwriters in the U.S., met Linda Krieg at an evening concert together in November 2015, where she charmed the audience with blues harp and vocals. A few months later, Karp sent her the song and they recorded it. Karp and Krieg are planning a CD called "TransAtlantic Blues."
