Tristan Brusch has been making music for many years. Actually, for as long as he can remember. The son of a violinist, he grew up listening to classical music and composing as a child - Tristan, a little Amadeus. And absolutely wunderkind-like is how outrageously good his German-language debut album "Das Paradies" (VÖ 08.06.18) has now turned out. A debut album that, if you'll pardon the pun, could mark a turning point in the German-language music landscape. Like a glittering thunderstorm of cheerful amusements, highly adult declarations of love and heated battle announcements, this chanson pop shakes and thrills. At best, after enjoying this music, one goes about one's day's work thoroughly cleansed, and with stubborn earworms to boot. The only thing that seems to have remained from the years of classical music is the somnambulistic certainty with composition and instruments. Sonically and in its attitude, "Das Paradies" is anarchic, exuberant, extremely hip and thus anything but yesterday. Tristan Brusch subjects the listener to a psychedelic pleasure therapy at the end of which only one thing can wait: Paradise.
