Tüsn counter the never-ending stream of news, niceties and trifles with a deliberate reduction. The three Berliners make themselves scarce. Their network is a tightly knitted frame of reference, a hermetic house of love without a spy. Tüsn don't talk much about themselves, all the more others talk about them. That should be fine with them. The band consists of Snöt, Tomas and Daniel. Their instruments are synthesizer, bass and drums. For the former guitarist Snöt the instrumentation is not based on a decision against his old instrument, rather the synthesizer and the discovery of new creative scope offered an opportunity for further development as a band. Moreover, today's fan of analog synthesizers embarked on one of those mythological journeys into the interior, known at best from world literature. His defining, expressive and sometimes exalted vocals are the result of relentless experimentation with his own body tension. That's all he gives away.
In a mixture of innate shyness and almost classical preservation of distance, Tüsn generally avoid explaining themselves and their music in detail. It's as if they come from a Hollywood era when stars weren't yet starlets. Or from a utopia in which art was still allowed to present itself in its full mysteriousness. There is no such thing, of course, not anymore. But a little more mystery, a little more imagination, a little more freedom would certainly be a worthwhile experience for everyone - artists, audience and media. For those who want to take this as a prompt, Tüsn's music is a gateway to the inner showroom.
