"We are Unduzo and do a cappella; And you like this?" ask Linda Jesse, Cornelius Mack, Patrick Heil, Richard Leisegang and Julian Knörzer.
Since the formation won the Young Vocal Ensemble Competition in Heilbronn in 2009, exactly five months after its founding, a lot has happened: a first CD is released, TV and radio appearances follow, and concert requests increase year by year; by now, Unduzo is an integral part of the German a cappella scene and is picking up speed in 2014/2015:
In July 2015, Unduzo wins four out of a total of seven prizes in the composition competition for vocal bands announced by the German Choral Association.
Unduzo wins 2nd place in the category "Profi(t) at the German A Cappella Contest, as well as a special prize (composition) for the song "Der Clown".
In May 2015, Unduzo wins a 3rd prize at the International A cappella Contest Leipzig, after Slovenia and Hungary.
Unduzo wins gold twice at the International A cappella Competition Vokal total in Graz in the categories Pop and Comedy and a 2nd place in the category Comedy.
In autumn 2014 their new album "Und du so .?!".
In the new program "Und du so?!" the band asks the questions for a change: "We have told enough about ourselves. Now it is the turn of others: our audience, people we have met. But not only people! Also animals and plants have their say."
The five studied musicians do not mince words as usual. Whether they speculate about singing Unten ohne or teach a belly dancer how to dance with Left Right Down, despite all the fun, thoughtful tones are not missing: Unduzo criticize the eco-establishment in Ferdinand or consider with Monika, why relationships so often just do not work.
Pop, rock, disco, Latin rhythms, reggae feeling culminate in eloquent stories. Five individual voices blend into a full band with numerous instrumental features. In Unduzo, five individualists come together and use the different facets of their music studies to put their own stamp on the a cappella scene.
