For about two years, the group Unduzo, which was founded during their joint music studies in Freiburg in 2008 and whose members now live in Hamburg, Leipzig and Freiburg, has put a lot of heart and work into the new project. In "Schweigen Silber - Reden Gold" (Silence Silver - Speech Gold) the five musicians show their colours on the album and on stage: each of them feels obliged to their own creativity, their individual musical taste as well as to the demands they make on themselves and on the four others. In this creative tangle of possibilities and multiplicities of the band, the aim is to work out a clear line. That can't be done without compromise - and sometimes it's a matter of avoiding just that.
A Cappella is the five-part band's creative tool for bringing their own musical influences and ideas to the stage. Different styles of singing mesh with beatbox and live looped lines. Songs are musically written for instruments and vocally arranged; at home in the many facets of pop music.
