How do you get as much money as possible in as little time as possible? Josephine and Elisabeth, two strikingly attractive Englishwomen, travel the globe and make a living out of pulling money out of the pockets of well-to-do and gullible gentlemen in not entirely legal ways: They play the familiar game of "countess with momentary money troubles" and her maid.
However, when they hook Charlie, an attractive and cunning New York banker, they find that he is not so easily fleeced. Instead, a partnership ensues that is only initially limited to business.
But now Josephine and Elizabeth are faced with a new problem: How do you share a man? And who finally "makes off" with whom - or not?
