With the new CD" Temps Perdu " the Frankfurt pianist Uta Dobberthien presents her own compositions,which are a mixture of American hard bop - tradition and lyrical ballads,in which jazzy but also impressionistic harmonies are combined with traditional jazz improvisation. With support from the excellent rhythm section as well as the two top soloists, groovy jazz is presented in a highly professional manner.
