In a way, Van Canto have always been special in such an outstanding way. The first and only heavy metal a capella band can proudly look back on a now 10-year career, which started in 2007 with their first album "A storm to come".
Since then they have always managed to take the hearts of their audience by storm with their powerful, unique and melodic hero metal songs. No instruments, just their voices and a drummer. Meanwhile, Van Canto have many and very loyal fans worldwide, with whom the band feels closely connected.
However, when the name of their next tour was being birthed, Van Canto probably didn't think about all that. The reasons for the title "Tour Number 7" are more obvious, but no less grand because of it.
The band is looking forward to the release of their 7th album. Studio album in the summer of 2018.
Since longtime lead singer and friend Sly left the band and the introduction of new singers Hagen and Jan, Van Canto has 7 members. When Hagen joined the band, he was also actually introduced as "Voice No 7" - big events were casting their shadows ahead!
