The most famous boys' choir in the world gets you in the mood for the most wonderful time of the year! The Vienna Boys' Choir is an institution in music history and looks back on a tradition of more than 500 years. As early as the 15th century, the first choir boys accompanied Emperor Maximilian I on his imperial days. NAfter the collapse of the Habsburg monarchy, a non-profit association took over the sponsorship of the choir and promoted its touring activities, which continue to this day.

As stars of film and recordings with Leonard Bernstein, José Carreras, Placido Domingo or Zubin Mehta, among others, and as guest choir of the Vienna State Opera, the 10- to 14-year-old boys before their voices break are among the few ensembles whose fame spans the globe.

Numerous prizes and awards the choir has already received, including the coveted Grammy Award twice.

Released by Deutsche Grammophon / Universal Music Group, the Vienna Boys Choir's latest Christmas album has reached gold status within 4 weeks.
