Volpone modernized version of the classic of the same name "Volpone" by Ben Jonson beareitet by Stefan Zweig.
Volpone fucks her over again magnificently. He's sick. Well not really. His personal blowfly Mosca has to buzz again and dispose of three powdered heiresses of their property. Of course, to such a materialistic man, even a wife counts as property.
Lucky for Venice that there is at least one law-making, if quite wrought, soldier still prowling the city's taverns. He's got to settle the matter! One grasp of the receiver and the judge is alerted! May at least this venerable institution not yet be sunk in the Venetian cesspool of sin! But you are welcome, dear audience, to sink into this musical spectacle: "Volpone".
A colorful comedy, presented by the young theater group from JuleKu - Jugend lebt Kultur- in cooperation with the kulturverein Ueber.land. e.V ., a Büdinger initiative consisting of young people, to set new cultural accents in Büdingen.
