With her debut, Lotte presents a thoroughly impressive album. Songs like the first single "Auf beiden Beinen" (On Both Legs) tell of the longing for a freedom that is not possible without security. It's the one album you've been waiting a long time for these days. "There's no reason to doubt, look, I land on both feet / I don't look back and if you don't hear anything, I'm fine," Lotte sings in "Auf beiden Beinen." The highly dynamic refrain symbolizes departure, it carries you away, continuously increases over the entire distance, swells sometimes and then again - an absolutely irresistible instant hit that you won't forget again. Lotte comes from Ravensburg, the "city of towers", as she calls it in the song of the same name. It was there, near Lake Constance, that she learned to play the guitar, piano and violin from an early age, she sings and takes classical lessons. So music has always been the core of her life, her language and her refuge, and maybe that's why her songs sound so true and mature in the best sense, even though she is only 23 years old. After opening a concert by Max Giesinger, Lotte is doing around 50 shows in 2016 opening for prominent colleagues such as Benne, Johannes Oerding and, of course, Giesinger. Lotte has learned on these evenings to no longer hide behind a band, but to communicate directly with the people. She now does this more and more often with producer Mic Schroeder, with whom she finally goes into the studio to record her first album. Mic he proves to be the perfect choice right away, as together they create Lotte's wonderful emotionality with a musical determination to a great album called "Querfeldein".
