Walking On Cars: Ireland's new pop heroes
Hitting the charts with an independent sound and clever lyrics
Debut album "Everything This Way" released at the end of March
Three shows in September in Munich, Cologne and Frankfurt
In complete isolation on the southwest coast of Ireland, five close school friends formed the quintet Walking On Cars five years ago, currently one of the hottest newcomers in the UK. Their first two released singles, "Catch Me If You Can" and "Two Stones," climbed into the Top 30 of the Irish charts. The debut album "Everything This Way", which was already released in Ireland in January, is currently advancing to become a highly acclaimed, stylistically surprising work, which is even causing the London trend gazettes to go into overdrive. In Germany, "Everything This Way" was released on March 25th and immediately climbed the charts, accompanied by the highly successful new single "Speeding Cars" throughout Europe. Following their rousing German shows in early May, Walking On Cars come back to us in September for three concerts in Munich, Cologne and Frankfurt.
The concert has been moved from the Zoom to the Batschkapp - tickets remain valid!
