For a long time guitarist and songwriter Jeff Angell was considered an insider tip of the new Seattle scene, that changed abruptly when Duff McKagan, bassist of Guns N'Roses and part of the global rock aristocracy, joined his band Walking Papers. Music media everywhere promptly took notice of both his Walking Papers and his other two bands, Missionary Position and Staticland. With Staticland, Angell had already successfully toured German clubs in 2016. Now the innovative rocker will bring his Walking Papers to Frankfurt's Nachtleben on September 29, 2018 and to Berlin's Bi Nuu on October 5, 2018.
Because both Duff McKagan and Barrett Martin are otherwise engaged, they are not expected to come to Germany with Walking Papers. Currently, in addition to Angell and Anderson, the band includes Nate Daley (guitar), Dan Spalding (bass, upright bass and baritone sax), Will Andrews (drums) and Gregor Lothian (sax).
