To visit the last big Rheingau folk festival, the tourist office of Eltville invites you. Already in 1654, the Kappeskerb was mentioned in a document and is thus one of the oldest folk festivals in the region. In addition to the wine village at the station forecourt and a huge carnival at the parking lot in the Weinhohle, there is traditionally an arts and crafts market in the Electoral Castle. The highlight is the final autumn procession of the winegrowers. This procession winds its way through the streets of Eltville's old town on Saturday at 3 pm. The festival ends on Monday with fireworks.
