Canadian-born Wendy McNeill is back at Harbor 2 with her "Folk Noir". Her albums are said to tell bitterly wicked and twisted stories that are equally clever and moving. Telling stories is Wendy McNeill's passion: "a beautiful story can help bring out the best in a person" she says, and so rather than her concerts consisting of songs and the moments between them in the classic sense, they are interwoven narratives - sung or spoken. On this year's summer tour, she's on stage as a duo, meaning accordion, guitar, upright bass.
