"Everyday Refugees?"
WHEN THEN - Poetry Slam - versus Jazz 'n Groove!!!
What does it sound like when language wit and musical compositions communicate? Or: how do serious words and humorous songs find together?
Even non-politically persecuted people know the feeling of being on the "flee" from everyday life, for example, or maybe just from themselves. How does this seemingly unrelated, groundless feeling arise?
This topic and many others are attempted by three musicians of the young generation in a humorous way to give expression in text, sound and composition.
From sound painting to Hip Hop, from so called U to E-music- from compostion and improvisation- And: from word and wit and some stories out of the "drawer".
Imogen and Gabriel, originally from Freiburg, and Friedrich from near Nuremberg, currently living in Frankfurt and Mannheim, have been professional musicians since graduation and can be heard internationally in a wide variety of projects. Also in areas of theater music and music cabaret.
On this evening, they pursue the goal of using words and wit to illuminate the topic of "inner flight" across genres.
