The Easter market once again offers a wide range of inspiration for Easter and great entertainment: Around 100 stalls set up in the pedestrian zone from Rheinstraße to Marktstraße and around Mauritiusplatz will be tempting visitors with arts and crafts, live music, entertainment for younger market visitors and culinary delights. The market is organized by Wiesbaden Marketing GmbH.
The arts and crafts market will once again offer Easter decorations, leather goods, paintings, natural brushes and original jewelry. The market also features handicrafts made of wood, porcelain and ceramic figurines. There are also delicatessen stands with bread spreads and mustard, cheese and sausage specialties.
From Friday to Sunday, 15 to 17 March, the traditional Easter market in the city centre will once again offer a varied program with an arts and crafts and fabric market, Sunday shopping and a children's program.
Easter bunnies, walking acts and live music
As usual, "Easter bunnies"will be out and about in the pedestrian zone on all three days, handing out small gifts. Stilt-walking acts can be admired on Sunday. The musical program on the stage at Mauritiusplatz offers pop and country as well as rock and roll, blues and soul. A total of ten snack stands and two wine stands from the region will cater for the guests' physical well-being.
Sunday shopping and fabric market
A highlight is the Sunday shopping with a creative children's program. On Sunday, March 17, many stores and stores in the Historic Pentagon will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., offering the opportunity for relaxed strolling and shopping with the whole family. The Easter market will be complemented on Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm by the fabric market on the Dern'schen grounds. Here, fans of the art of sewing will find a huge range of fabrics and sewing accessories at more than 100 stands.
