Grammophonesk rattling swing - snotty and musical 1a artfully scraped, creaked, warbled and growled. And in German. This is jazz music again, to which the working class with the cultural elite can put a snappy sole on's parquet. The whisky thinkers go back to what swing should actually be: danceable, straightforward and entertaining. "Die ham dit jewisse avec" could say the Berliners. And that doesn't come from nowhere, but from four musicians who very often know what they're doing and orchestrate it in an unusual way: Vocals and trumpet, banjo, percussion - and the bass blows from a huge bass saxophone.
