A concert guitar, an upright bass and the common recorder: if that's not an astreine line-up for a rock band! Who would have thought that the recorder could make a hall go wild with pieces by AC/DC, or that it could imitate the voice of a young Michael Jackson just perfectly? Even pieces by Deep Purple or Kraftwerk work perfectly in the wooden version. In addition to such amazing adaptations of well-known hits, the program also focuses on adaptations of classical works, which Wildes Holz rock a good deal more than one is used to hearing. If this breathtaking musical performance is then also combined with captivating stage presence, spontaneous comedy and audience proximity, then it finally deserves the predicate: Astrein!
