Nackenheim is the birthplace of the writer Carl Zuckmayer, whose play "The Merry Vineyard" is a monument to his homeland. The wine tasting stands stretch from the Carl-Zuckmayer-Platz in front of the town hall along the Weinbergstraße up to the Rothenberg. The wine tasting takes place on 19.07. at the Rheinterrassenweg in the "old Mistkaut" under the open sky. The wine festival opening is on Friday, July 21, followed by a high-altitude fireworks display.
