Wolfi Klein & guests
Wolfgang Klein, at home in the Mainz pub scene for 39 years, became an involuntary author due to climate change. In the hot Mainz summers, when there is nothing going on in the pub, the man sits down at his keyboard and writes satires, whimsical short stories and pub stories, sometimes poems, instead of shopping lists.
This has resulted in ten books over the years, from which he and his guests will read aloud this evening. After the success of the first two events, Wolfi has again invited guests from all branches of the entertainment industry, but especially old and also new companions from the Quartier Mayence, the Caveau and the Lion. The rest of the program remains secret for now, after all it is supposed to be a surprise. One or the other musician from the Caveau and the Quartier-Frühschoppen will do the honours .
Special highlight: Sing-along evening with Mainz songs
After the huge rush at the Löwen, we also offer the opportunity to sing along at the Frankfurter Hof. There will certainly be a few prominent guests joining in, the initiators of this great idea will make sure of that: the presenters Thomas Becker & Martin Krawietz. At the piano: Claudio Poso.
