"You're not alone" is a passion of modern aloneness. In search of human closeness, award-winning British performance and video artist Kim Noble stalks a supermarket cashier and tries to send him secret signs by buying condoms, tampons or pregnancy tests. He contacts long-distance lorry drivers who have left their telephone numbers in the toilets of motorway service stations or has an Ikea outfit made so that he can work as a consultant in the furniture store even without a job commitment. All these attempts end predictably disastrously. Kim Noble, however, manages to create what must be one of the saddest evenings of theatre ever, while at the same time being laugh-out-loud funny! AHighlight of performance art that intersects classic tragedy with crude British comedy!
