Second album "So Good" charts worldwide
Live in October/November in Frankfurt, Zurich, Munich, Berlin and Hamburg In total, the overwhelmingly talented, touchingly authentic singer and songwriter Zara Larsson has released twelve singles in the past four years, and only two of them failed to enter the Swedish Top 30. Because usually the songs she (co-)composed, which sound exceptionally grown-up and relaxed for a teenager, only know one direction: high in the Top Ten or, as in four cases so far, right at the top of the charts. And this by no means only in Scandinavia: first she conquered the Top 5 in almost all European countries with her single "Lush Life". Since her collaboration with French DJ David Guetta, with whom she wrote and performed the official anthem of the 2016 European Football Championship, the whole world knew her. The release of her second album "So Good" has now allowed the charismatic performer to mature into a global star: In more than 50 countries - including Germany, England, numerous Asian countries as well as the USA - "So Good" climbed high in the charts, in the top ten in eleven countries and in her home country Sweden immediately back to the top. Between October 30 and November 6, Zara Larsson will now come to German-speaking countries for five concerts in Frankfurt, Zurich, Munich, Berlin and Hamburg. Two things Zara Larsson, born in Solna, Sweden, in 1997, knew for sure from an early age: first, that she wanted to sing. And two, that she wanted to do it alone and in her own enchanting way. That is why she decided against the place offered at the renowned Adolf Friedrich Music School, because it also required choral singing and study of classical literature. Two aspects that the free-spirited pop chick didn't know much about. Instead, she pursued ballet training at the Royal Swedish Ballet School starting in 3rd grade - and initially kept her singing all to herself. A decision Zara Larsson's mother torpedoed by secretly signing her daughter up for the Swedish version of the casting show "Got Talent"; at the time, Zara was just 11 years young. With stunning covers of Whitney Houston and Céline Dion, she made it to the final, where she bravely stood up to the seven other finalists with her charming innocence and big voice - and ultimately won. But what for many other musicians would have meant the almost inevitable start of a professional music career was for Zara nothing more than a confirmation: she was on her way to becoming a unique singer who takes hearts by storm. The fact that her final performance was one of the special shining moments in the context of European casting shows became apparent in the months that followed: this performance was viewed more than 17 million times worldwide via YouTube. And yet the ambitious musician still took five years until her first official release: Only in 2013 her debut EP "Introducing" was released, right with the first single "Uncover" Zara Larsson managed to jump to the top of the Swedish charts. At the same time, it was only the prelude to an almost frightening series of single successes: Within three years, eight of her songs placed in the Swedish top ten, every other one even rose to the top. That these hits were much more than the usual streamlined chart fodder, however, was proven by another success: For three years in a row, Zara Larsson was awarded the important Swedish Rockbjörnen Prize in the category "Best Female Live Artist". And rightly so, because Zara's stage presence and aura knows hardly any comparison. She also proved this in front of many millions of TV viewers worldwide when she performed the European Championship anthem "This One's For You" alongside David Guetta at the opening ceremony in 2016. Since that memorably natural performance, the global pop world has been eagerly awaiting her second album, whose now-confirmed towering global success was virtually pre-programmed, with all five pre-released singles reaching peak chart positions across Europe.
