Hope?! What to do when refugee shelters are burning every weekend and the AfD is in the Bundestag? - Get loud. Get really loud! That's the answer of ZSK.
"Hallo Hoffnung", the fifth studio album of the Berlin punk rock band, will be released on 27.7.
"Hallo Hoffnung is a record for all those who are angry, who don't want to give up. But also for those who need protection right now," says singer Joshi. "It's become a pretty personal album that gives courage to keep standing up against all the crap out there."
Anyone can see for themselves that the band's commitment to fighting right-wing violence and racism is not just lip service. The "Kein Bock Auf Nazis" campaign, founded by ZSK in 2006, supports protests against the right throughout Germany. Last year alone there were almost 100 information stands of the campaign from Rock im Park and Hurricane to the tours of Broilers and Die Toten Hosen.
After a jam-packed festival summer including Highfield, Reload and the Ruhrpott Rodeo, ZSK are now coming on extensive club tour in autumn. Across the republic they will be celebrating their new record, burning through amps and dripping sweat from the ceiling.
