Heurigen series at Lohninger

Mario Lohninger and his eponymous restaurant will once again be bringing the southern neighbouring country closer to the people of Frankfurt in 2015.
On selected evenings, traditional dishes from Austria will be served up.

Together with his mother Erika and father Paul, Mario Lohninger runs the Lohninger restaurant according to the Austrian inn model. In an effort to show off his love of home on more than just the culinary side one night a month, the chef started the Heurigen series last year, where classic Austrian dishes and Viennese music await guests. The first Heurigen date this year is on Saturday, February 7. From 12 to 3 p.m., Viennese fried chicken, pike perch from Lake Zell in a salt crust, organic roast pork Schwäbisch-Hall and other specialties will be offered. A buffet with different Brettljausen, self-smoked ham and salads complete the offer.

Pricewise, the event comes along with 39 euros per person excluding drinks.

Those who can't get a seat should reserve a table right away for the second edition on March 21.
