There is really no lack of ice cream parlors in Frankfurt. Not even of really good ice cream parlours or those that try to stand out from other providers with very special creations. But even if a visit to the ice cream parlour you trust has many an "aha" effect for your taste buds, it is the presentation that fails to provide the big surprise. The scoops come in a cup or a waffle, the spaghetti ice cream on a plate and the fruit cup in a glass. Tastes delicious, but is not really spectacular. In Thailand, a new trend has now recently emerged that brings a breath of fresh air into the world of ice cream: the Ice Rolls.
The preparation of the delicious ice rolls is simple in itself, but ensures for the customer that the ice licking is no longer just for the palate, but also for the eyes an experience. The liquid ice cream mass is placed on a -30 degree cold plate together with various ingredients - be it fruit, cookies or chocolate. The whole thing is then chopped up with two spatulas, smoothed out and then scraped off in small rolls. In addition to Thailand, Ice Rolls are already causing long lines in front of stores in metropolises like New York and London. And now Luca Cinelli, a Frankfurt boy with Italian roots, has brought this trend to the Main metropolis. With "Cinelli's Ice Cream Rolls", the first Ice Roll shop in Germany is opening in MyZeil.
The spectacular preparation, numerous, freely selectable toppings and a very nice team make a visit to "Cinelli's Ice Cream Rolls" a real pleasure. However, you should not only bring a lot of desire for delicious ice cream. You should also plan a little time for your visit. But at the latest when you stand at the front of the queue and watch Luca Cinelli and his team preparing the ice cream, time flies. And the best thing is: it tastes good too!
