The Lawrence Clark Band has been a working unit for approximately two decades. The concept of this ensemble has embellishments from the classic John Coltrane Quartet and Miles Davis Quintet and undertones of Clark's journey as a prime member of Rashied Ali's last Quintet. This New York-based ensemble has performed at various venues and festivals in and outside of New York.
