Let's talk about Frankfurt's sinful sides. There is a lot to report about that. Who can think of something to say? But not what you think again! No. In December, when I think of sin, I don't think of red light, but of brown or white, tasty and delicious: I'd like to bet that the last month of the year is the one in which we devour the most chocolate. Right?
The stores are full of it. After all, it seems to be all the rage to give advent calendars as gifts: cosmetic brands now even offer their version. When will the first car brand throw their calendar on the market? I've heard of people who get to help themselves to at least three gift advent calendars every day. So December is the month of sweet sin. Which I don't think is such a bad thing, though. What would life be without a little exaggeration? In the New Year, Lent will soon begin again - so everything is in order.
A little sin can't hurt
That a little sin doesn't hurt at all, yes the Bethmännchen in the house so to speak saves the frustration, is obvious. Think about it: Eintracht has lost again *cough*. But instead of watching helplessly as the husband/boyfriend wallows in his misfortune, I can now cheer him up easily: In future I will give away the sinful chocolate pralines from Michi's Schokoatelier - with Eintrachtwapppen on it. Or just give away some chocolates with apple wine. For those of us who are really bitter, the taste of green sauce would certainly be appealing?
Whoever thought that Frankfurt's most sinful shops were in the Bahnhofsviertel is mistaken: Sandweg is home to this chocolate paradise. My girlfriends still rave about the bars I gave them last Christmas because they contained real orange slices. When the chocolate mingles with the tart taste of the fruit in your mouth and melts. Oh, oh, oh...I don't know about you: but of so much sin, I only want to enjoy small amounts at a time. The better, the more enjoyable, the rarer, and the less. In this sense: more sin please ;-) Still a beautiful pre-Christmas season I wish you.
With what do you prefer to "sin" in the pre-Christmas season?
