First Teaser Trailer for THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE HORNS

Finally it's here:The First teaser trailer for THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE HOES, which has been hugely anticipated by fans worldwide. (Theatrical release Dec. 10, 2014)

In the furious conclusion to the trilogy, the responsibility for the future of Middle-earth rests on the shoulders of Bilbo Baggins and his friends. The epic Battle of the Five Armies will decide their fate.

Oscar® Award-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson presents "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies," the concluding film to the trilogy version of the still wildly popular masterpiece The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien.

"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Hosts" features the epic finale to the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield and the Dwarves. As the companions reclaim their home from the dragon Smaug, they unleash his destructive power unawares: the furious Smaug spews his fiery wrath on the defenseless men, women and children of Seacity.

Thorin is obsessed with his urge to protect the reclaimed treasure - even risking friendship and honor to do so, while Bilbo desperately tries to talk sense into him. Soon the hobbit must make a very explosive decision. But even greater dangers are imminent for the companions. For only the wizard Gandalf realizes that the formidable foe Sauron has set his orcish legions in motion to launch a surprise attack on the Lonely Mountain.

As the conflict comes to a head and darkness descends, the races of dwarves, elves, and men are faced with a choice: either fight together or perish. In the epochal Battle of the Five Armies, Bilbo stakes his life for that of his friends: The future of Middle Earth hangs in the balance.

The "Hobbit" trilogy tells a cohesive story set in Middle Earth 60 years before "The Lord of the Rings," which Oscar winner and filmmaker Peter Jackson and his team brought to theaters as a blockbuster trilogy. The climax was the Oscar-winning "The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King."
