Next year, Jack Black teaches all movie fans to be creeped out in a most amusing way. That's because the title of his new adventure comedy says it all: GOOSESHAUT!
Teenager Zach Cooper (DYLAN MINNETTE) isn't exactly thrilled when he has to move from a big city to a small town. But when he meets the beautiful Hannah (ODEYA RUSH), who lives in the house next door, and also quickly makes a good friend in Champ (RYAN LEE), he sees his first silver lining. But every silver lining also has a cloud. And Zach's emerges when he discovers that Hannah's mysterious father is none other than R.L. Stine (JACK BLACK), author of the successful Goosebumps novels. As Zach learns more about his strange neighboring family, he discovers that Stine has a dangerous secret: The creatures that have made his stories famous are real! Stine protects his readers from them by locking them in their books. But when Stine's creatures are accidentally released from their manuscripts one day and escape, Zach's life takes a bizarre turn. In one crazy night of adventure, Zach, Hannah, Champ and Stine, must team up to save the town. They must put all these fantasy creatures invented by Stine - including Slappy, Shadow Girl, the Garden Gnomes, and many others - back in their books where they belong.
Directed by Rob Letterman (Monsters vs. Aliens), this wacky monster fun. Starring alongside star comedian Jack Black (King Kong, School of Rock) are newcomers Odeya Rush (Keeper of Memory - The Giver), Dylan Minnette (Prisoners) and Ryan Lee (Super 8).
