Bus and train to Wäldchestag and Eintracht

Over Whitsun, Frankfurters and visitors from out of town can once again celebrate the unique Wäldchesfest - with fun and music, Ebbelwei, pretzels and Handkäs'. To ensure that visitors can enjoy the festival without any worries, traffiQ and VGF are significantly expanding the local transport services to and from Frankfurt's Stadtwald from Friday, May 17 to Tuesday, May 21.

Tram to Oberforsthaus

Tram line 21 runs via the main station to the forest, which can be reached quickly from Oberforsthaus. The streetcar is supplemented by the special line 20. There is a frequent service and plenty of space until well after midnight.

Bus routes 61 and 80: Frequent journeys from Südbahnhof

From Südbahnhof to Oberforsthaus and back, Wäldches guests can use route 61 and special route 80. Additional articulated buses offer more space until well after midnight and ensure that nobody has to wait long for the next departure.

And on Saturday in the stadium: Eintracht home game

While the celebrations are taking place in the Wäldche, Eintracht will be hosting a match on Pentecost Saturday, 18 May, in the neighboring stadium. May, Eintracht will welcome RB Leipzig for a Bundesliga match in the neighboring stadium. Their fans will be traveling by S-Bahn and regional trains, but of course also by streetcar lines 20 and 21 and bus lines 61 and 80 - but their destination is the stadium.
