For all those who like to cook Asian food and are looking for unusual ingredients or food, there is now a new address in Frankfurt: the basement of Karstadt on the Zeil. A branch of the Berlin GO ASIA supermarket has opened here. Although the Frankfurt branch is smaller in area, it offers more choice than the Berlin branch. The Asian food specialist has over 100 different types of noodles - from wheat noodles to udon noodles, glass noodles, egg noodles, konjac noodles and a huge selection of instant noodles. You can also find nearly 100 varieties of rice, including different types of jasmine rice, sushi rice, basmati rice, glutinous rice and even rarer varieties.
But that's not all, of course. GO ASIA has about 6,000 products on offer at the start in Frankfurt. Various soy sauces, curry pastes, fish sauces, juices, coconut water, corn snacks or sweets such as mochi with honeydew, ginger candies, sesame biscuits or dried fruits can be found on the shelves here. And also for lovers of vegan cuisine there are numerous delicacies on offer in the new supermarket. In addition, there are some non-food items like rice cookers, steaming attachments, woks, chopsticks, pots, sushi items and more.
Another highlight is the fresh food shelf, where fresh fruits and vegetables from Thailand are offered daily. The offer here is really unique in this scope and makes you want to try out completely new taste experiences.
