With a thriller in a class of its own, the Fritz Rémond Theater returns after its much too long forced break. Under the direction of Frank Lorenz Engel, Elisabeth Ebner, Dieter Gring, Francesco Russo and Ralf Stech are on stage at the Theater am Zoo for "A Murderous Accident" by Edward Taylor. An exciting and successful start to the 75th season, which has even more highlights to offer in the coming months.
And that's what the play is about: Harold Kent and Paul Riggs are successful crime novelists. Harold, however, wants to end their meanting collaboration; Paul, however, is unwilling to be outbid in a fightlos and does not shy away from blackmail. Together with his wife Emma, Harold therefore plans the perfect murder. Before their meansame trip to the US, they lure Paul into a trap and count on expressing dismay at the friend's untimely death upon your return without getting caught in the crosshairs for it. Six weeks later, however, the expected "corpse" is nowhere to be found - and a police inspector shows up at the door instead. The play unfolds as a murderous game in which the tide keeps turning in astonishing ways and no one is who they seem.
