Currently, his YouTube channel boasts 8.7 million subscribers as well as 2.5 billion plays of his videos, and his click numbers on Spotify and Soundcloud also stand at well over half a billion plays. Accordingly, his first official single "Faded" also became a breathtaking global success, reaching platinum status in ten countries and even the highly rare diamond status in Germany for more than one million units sold. In total, "Faded" currently stands at just under 5.5 million units sold. The follow-up singles "Sing Me To Sleep" and "Alone" also reached high chart positions internationally and helped Alan Walker to the status of the most successful musician ever to come out of Norway. He is conquering the world with his mix of trance, downbeat, and electro and progressive house.
