AMBER RUN have a certain communal spirit to their music that could make singles like "Heaven" and "The Shivering Spark" future festival anthems - in keeping with their philosophy that music should be shared with as many people as possible. "If you can share the music you love with your audience, why wouldn't you?" says singer Joe Keogh. "Above all, we want to be seen as a live band. You can spend weeks recording a song in the studio, but you have to be able to perform it. Seeing a great live band feels more real than hearing a brilliant album."
The four Brits' songs are anthemic rock songs with influences of cinematic post-rock, "But I also have a penchant for pop because it's just a better way to express yourself. As a man of words, I've always been aware that individual words and expressions can affect the overall sound of the music," Joe explains.
AMBER RUN are determined to spread their music as far as possible. With their debut single "Noah," they ran in rotation on Radio 1. They produced their new album ""For A Moment I Was Lost" with producers Mike Crossey and Sam Winfield. Crossey has previously produced albums for Foals, Jake Bugg and The 1975, while Winfield has been with the band since the single Noah.
In November they will bring their new record to German stages for the first time.
