Just in time for the start of the 5th season, there is a special and new highlight in the Mainzer Fastnacht!
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Caritas in the diocese of Mainz, a cross-association Caritas-
Benefiz-Fastnachtsitzung will be held under the motto: "Do rappelt die Bix!" will be held in the Electoral Palace.

Obermessdiener of the ice-cold brothers and the Mainzer court singers for the good thing of the Caritas into the Bütt and Margit Sponheimer will enrich the evening musically , reports the planning team of the Caritas.
Also Ernst Lustig (MCC) and the Bänkelsänger (MCV) will perform, the Kasteler Musikanten will take over the musical accompaniment. Co-initiator of the project is Heinz Meller of the Bohnebeitel, who, however, has not yet revealed which role he will take on this evening.
It will be an entertaining, fast session without a break, so that afterwards there will be enough time for the post-session with dancing in the vaulted cellar.
The full proceeds of ticket sales will directly benefit people in need in Mainz.
