Instead of the sound of the big city, Christian Löffler prefers to be inspired by nature for his contemplative electronic music. The artist, who grew up on the Baltic Sea, paints and photographs in addition to music, likes to retreat into solitude to work. There he produces his organic and usually somewhat melancholic sounding deep house, which he releases on the label he co-founded, Ki Records, using modified synthesizers and field recordings taken in nature. For his second album "Mare" Christian Löffler also played instruments like a marimba or a zither and sings himself for the first time. At his live set in the hall of the Mousonturm he will be accompanied by guest singer Mohna and the string quartet Dowry Strings. Pieces from the two albums "A Forest" and "Mare" will be played, as well as some as yet unreleased works.
