Next to Isbells or Balthazar, DAN SAN are probably the next promising band from the neighbouring country Belgium. In 2012 they were already with us and provided at that time already for full house. But it took four years until they could visit us again, because only last May their latest album Shelter was released. Before that, Dan San had to regroup & from all the touring. Fortunately, in 2015, enthusiasm returned and they started working on a new album. Producer Yan Arnaud, who also had his fingers on the controls with Air, Phoenix or Syd Meyers, helped the band to channel their ideas. The result is a complex, beautiful, catchy, dreamy body of work that really makes you wonder why this band hasn't had the attention in Europe that the aforementioned bands have had for a long time.
