After the concert initially announced for March was cancelled, the legend Ebo Taylor is coming to the Rhine Main area after all! The 82 year old guitarist Ebo Taylor from Ghana owns one of the most prominent places in the music history of the African continent - he is quite rightly considered the "grand old man of Afro-Funk". He played a major role in shaping highlife, that rousing African answer to jazz and funk, and worked with world stars such as Fela Kuti. Though his influence in Europe may not compare to that in Ghana or Nigeria, look forward to seeing the "living legend" at the Kesselhaus!
