Jong-soo lives in the South Korean city of Paju, where he keeps his head above water by working delivery jobs - when in fact he has studied and dreams of becoming a writer. But he lacks focus in life, which he finally seems to find when he meets his former classmate Hae-mi by chance on the street. The two become friends again and spend a night together before Hae-mi disappears to Africa for a while. Jong-soo eagerly awaits his girlfriend's return, then is completely flabbergasted when she introduces him to Ben, whom she met on her trip. The handsome guy at his beloved's side doesn't only seem to be rich, but also to have a lot of self-confidence, which increasingly intimidates Jong-soo. Still, he keeps joining Hae-mi and Ben's ventures, until one day the latter tells him about his unorthodox hobby of setting greenhouses on fire...
