Instead of the Hochheim Market, which was cancelled in the summer, the Hochheim Autumn will take place from 22 to 24 October daily from 11.00 to 21.00 clock open its doors and bring in the middle of the inner-city event area now but a little of the usual market atmosphere in the wine and champagne city.

The market planners have put together an attractive and balanced mix of market stalls, arts and crafts and gastronomic offerings. The selection is predominantly made up of offbeat market traders. In part, the selection was made by lottery, as many products are represented several times due to the size of the Hochheim market, he said. At about 50 stalls will be offered typical market products.

So visitors can supply themselves as usual with warm socks for the upcoming winter or but with a year's supply of cold water wipes, ceramics, cutlery, frying pans and pots. But also with ladders, flower bulbs, cheese from the market shouters from Hamburg or lambskin products of the highest quality. One of the shortest journeys will be made by Paul's farm, which will be taking part in the autumn event with an attractive range of products including a pumpkin pyramid. RheinMain4Family will be there on Saturday and Sunday at Pauls Bauernhof's booth with pumpkin carving. Furthermore, there will be an RV exhibition as well as various activities on the topic of electric mobility.

For those who get hungry while shopping, there are several snack bars not far from the sales market. There, too, visitors will come across establishments known from the wine festival and the market, such as Dinnerle, Allgäuer Käsespätzle, Kartoffelpuffer or Bratwurst vom Siegerländer. The beverage supply will also fall back on old acquaintances, because the Hausmann family will provide a balanced beverage offer on the market area.

On all event days, the wine tasting booth will also be open. The Hochheim vintners represented there will pour mulled wine at hopefully dry cool temperatures, in addition to your wines, and will thus provide additional market atmosphere. Also in the area of the wine stand, an extended food offer will be available.

As an event highlight, the 45-meter-high Ferris wheel, which the Otto Barth family will build.

But even the youngest guests will not miss out. On a toddlers' carousel and a children's car scooter will be the opportunity to turn a few merry rounds, as well as shops for duck fishing and thread pulling are available. The visit is rounded off and completed with further market-typical stands, where visitors can provide themselves with freshly roasted almonds, foam kisses or chocolate fruits.

The event is made possible by an extensive and elaborately implemented protection and hygiene concept. 1,000 visitors at a time are allowed to be on the premises, there is no contact data collection or 2G or 3G control. This regulation provides the current Hessian Corona Protection Ordinance for folk festivals, Christmas markets and similar events so.

Due to the small number of visitors, compliance with the still valid distance rules is guaranteed on the generously available event area. Sufficiently wide walkways without meeting traffic and generous staging areas provide additional safety.
