CONCERT POSTPONED FROM MARCH 27 TO DECEMBER 14, 2018!
The Disney telenovela "Violetta" has not only made lead actress Martina Stoessel a huge idol for millions of teens around the world. Her co-star, Mexican teen heartthrob Jorge Blanco, also became a superstar as León. Not only on television, but also on the big "Violette - Live in Concert" tour, Jorge was able to break girl's hearts by the dozen. After the end of the series, he has now signed a record deal with Hollywood Records and is allowed to show a whole new side of himself with his own songs, which is guaranteed to thrill his fans. With his band "The 8th Wonder", the young singer is coming on a club tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland for seven concerts in spring 2018! The 25-year-old wants to present his solo live debut to his "Jorgistas", as he affectionately calls his fans, in a colourful mix of pop, funk and soul.

Jorge's aunt felt the same way, as she was the one who put a guitar in her nephew Jorge Blanco's hand when he was just five years old. "I was very shy as a child and only ever sang to myself. The gift of the guitar helped me a lot. Singing and performing gave me more and more strength. With the help of music, I was able to get rid of my shyness," Jorge recalls. The aunt of the teen idol started the ball rolling or rather the singer on stage In 2007, his career began with the role in the musical reality series "High School Musical: La Selección". A few years later, Blanco received an offer to play the "teen heartbreaker" León in the Disney telenovela "Violetta." "Violetta" became a true cult favorite for a generation. In all three seasons, Jorge was there. With his role, however, he not only became known as an actor, but also discovered his singing talent here. During the subsequent live tour of "Violetta - Live in Concert", he was able to perform regularly on stage with his acting colleague Martina Stoessel in front of thousands of people in sold-out arenas worldwide. Including the European tour, which even sold more tickets than OneDirection.
"When I'm on stage playing in front of thousands of people, I feel inexplicable feelings of happiness. With my fans, I have conquered my stage anxiety," Jorge tells us. The "Jorgistas" not only thank him in front of the TV screens, but also give him a good backing on social media: over 2.9 million Instagram subscribers, 2 million Facebook followers and 1.3 million on Twitter. One thing is for sure: Jorge Blanco moves his generation!
Following "Violetta," Blanco signed a record deal with Hollywood Records in 2016. With his first single "Summer Soul," the artist shows a different side of himself and proves it - he has grown up. "Everything I do, I do not only for myself, but first and foremost for the fans. Now I'm even more excited about the upcoming club tour. We're going to rock the clubs with our fans!"
