Michael Feindler is the lyricist among Germany's cabaret artists. Language is his weapon, society the whetstone on which he sharpens it. Rhyme and rhythm are not an end in themselves, but form the carpet on which one stumbles over everything that has been swept underneath. Freely following the motto "Before we fill in ditches, we should walk through them", he looks at all kinds of abysses that open up between people. In the end, there is the realization: we can't care if there are two sides to a coin - even if we only see the shiny one.
