What hasn't the man invented: Together with Sinasi Dikmen he founded the first migrant cabaret in Germany. With his solo program "Diary of a Skinhead in Istanbul" he developed the cartoon cabaret, using his double talent as a cabaret artist and cartoonist. His neologism "Biodeutsche" was included in the Duden.
In his new program, Muhsin Omurca lets us look behind the scenes of the integration debates. With bite, humour and sarcasm, he breaks down the togetherness and antagonism between the host society and the immigrants:
Everyone comes to Germany, everyone wants to be Syrian. And the integration industry? Caught on the wrong foot. Now this is where the Turks, the eternal integration driving students, come in. The Turks' experience is worth its weight in gold. Muhsin's suggestion: "Integration manuals à la IKEA".
