They are from Berlin, Dortmund and Cologne, but they got to know each other while studying together in the Dutch city of Arnhem. Parfum Brutal have already released three albums, their sound has become rougher, more experimental and also a bit wilder over time. Nevertheless, the classic song is still the focus. Kassandra Papak sings, her delicate voice blending into the driving sound, into catchy melodies. The pendulum between indiepop and krautrock still swings more in the direction of the former genre. That's how beautiful melancholy sounds.
