Traffic info
With subway and S-Bahn you come comfortably to the street festival, streetcars and buses against it dodge.
According to experience, there are hardly any parking spaces around Schweizer Straße, so the easiest way to get there is by public transport. The fastest way to reach the Festmeile is to take the U1, U2, U3 and U8 subway lines to Schweizer Platz or Südbahnhof, which is also served by several S-Bahn lines. Most subways are this weekend with additional cars on the road and offer more space.
Trams and buses bypass Festmeile
The streetcar lines 15 and 16 run because of the street festival already from Friday, 8. July, 18 o'clock, over Stresemannallee and Mörfelder land road a few minutes longer detour. The bus line 78 will also run between Südbahnhof and Achenbachstraße via Mörfelder Landstraße from Friday. The night bus lines N8 and N16 will be routed past the festival mile via Holbeinstrasse, Mörfelderstrasse and Oppenheimer Landstrasse during the night from Sunday to Monday.
Ebbel-Ex remains "hibbdebach"
For the Ebbelwei-Express of the VGF means the street festival: no round trip through Sachsenhausen. The nostalgia streetcar runs between Zoo and Westbahnhof in both directions "hibbdebach", so via the Altstadtstrecke.
