The exhibition The Sound of Disney. 1928-1967 at the Deutsches Filmmuseum is on view through June 13.
The exhibition examines the use of music, sounds and dialogue in the original films as well as in many dubbed versions. The period under consideration ranges from short Mickey Mouse cartoons and films from the popular "Silly Symphonies" series of the 1920s and 30s to the feature-length masterpieces made during Walt Disney's lifetime (1901 - 1966): from SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS (US 1937) to THE JUNGLE BOOK (US 1967).
Despite the special hygienic requirements, the interactive stations with further content and background information can be used safely during the corona crisis.
